Dear Family Members,
Thanksgiving is over. There was much happening this year.
Brit and Jeremy got their new son.
John and Elizabeth had their new son.
Dan's mother died in California.
We went to Mesa for Thanksgiving.
Now its time to seriously think of Christmas. We have fewer decorations than usual, but we have a few. We will be in Draper for Christmas. We will have our regular buffet starting about 2 in the afternoon. We hope to see you there sometime during the day or even later in the week. You are always welcome. My message for you this month is from the Ensign. What all of us long for at Christmastime and always is too feel bound together in love with the sweet assurance that it can last forever. This is the promise of Eternal life.

November News
Grandpa & Grandma:
Dear family members,
We arrived back in St George today. The weather is great. It was also great in Draper. Our Thanksgiving will be different this year. We hope all of you have a good Thanksgiving. We are going to Gary and Bev's for Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to seeing their new house and visiting with them. We appreciate their invitation. We are seeing exciting things happening in your homes. We congratulate John and Elizabeth on their new son today. We wish them well. We met Brent an Melissa'a new little foster child. He is a Cutie. We look forward to seeing Jeremy and Britany's new little child when it arrives.We now have 30 great grand children. We are both doing fine and invite you to come and visit with us.Here is a closing thought. "We often assume that the people around us know how much we love them. We should never assume, but let them know we love them. we will never regret the kind words spoken or the affection shown.

Our family is doing pretty good this month. Ron finally got a real job and has been working there for a week. He is back to playing on the computer for his job so he is happy. Brent and Melissa have a new foster child. His name is Travis and he is a very very active almost 1 year old. He has only part of his heart working so he is on constant oxygen. We have already grown attached to him. In Eric and Shannon’s house there has been a few things going on. Last week Niki cut their hair and a few days later Lizzy decided to try to cut her own hair. She is now the proud owner of a cute little bob haircut. Also Eric's car died so they are looking to get a new one (a used new one). We will miss seeing all of you this Thanksgiving and hope that everyone has a great holiday. )This year we all have to go by ourselves to the Friday morning sales...Good luck and happy hunting). Have a great Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone! Things are well with us! We have a new addition, as I am sure most of you know by now. Travis came to us last month (on Jordan’s birthday in fact!) He will be one on Nov 18! He is a very active, curious and fun little guy and has blended well into our family! First term SEPs went well! We are proud of the boys. Jordan turned 7 and had a GREAT birthday. Braden is adjusting to being a big brother again and sharing mommy. Sometimes he struggles and sometimes he does great! He’s 2 what can we expect? Kolby is doing well! We are looking forward to spending the week of Thanksgiving in Park City with Melissa’s family. It will be nice to get away! We hope everyone has a GREAT Thanksgiving! Dan & Verna:
We had an awesome Halloween, lots of treats no tricks just fun, fun. It wasn't until a few days later on November 4 that the real fun began. Liz began to have labor pains at around 7. They came quickly and hard. At around 9 John, yes, my son the OBGYN, delivered a cute 10 lb 5 oz and 23 inch baby boy on the floor of their bathroom. They named him Zachary James Higbee. About five minutes after the delivery, the midwife arrived and finished up the work she, John and Liz had started. Friday night, Liz was up and around, looking chipper and feeling great. What a story to tell their grandchildren!
In other news, we have had our share of the sick and icky flu and colds. Faith and Kara both have had the strep. Tanya and Miguel have had colds.
Dan and Robert took a quick trip to California. Dan's mom broke her hip and had to have a hip replacement. Then she took a turn for the worse and Dan and Robert went to California over the weekend. She is doing better as of now, despite the fact she is still in the hospital and will need a blood transfusion. So, life is good.
Other news of interest, we go to court in January hopefully to terminate the parental rights of Miguel's bio mother and to open up the way for our adoption of him.
Thanksgiving plans include staying home and enjoying a turkey dinner.
Brandon & Suzanne:
Dear Family,
Brandt is now almost 7months old and has started to scoot his body to get places. Picture a snail and that might give you a good idea of how it looks. It works nicely with his rolling. Keaton has been enjoying Preschool and Joy-school. Suzanne loves that both schools are very close to home. Keaton and a classmate named Ada have become quite inseparable. For Halloween, Keaton went as Super Why. Suzanne and his Grandma Stemmons did a great job on the costume. Suzanne also enjoys taking the boys to discovery gateway on the off days. September, Brandon dusted off his coaching whistle and made the tiny-tots into a championship team. Keaton loved kicking the soccer ball around with his team and can't wait for the spring season. Brandon still works for Wells Fargo as an Analyst in their Life Insurance & Annuities group.Suzanne now holds the highly sought after calling of Visiting teaching supervisor. Brandon continues to be the ward employment specialist. Let him know if you know of anyone hiring. Just today, our ward became a part of a brand new Stake and we are excited for the change. We hope that everyone will have a great thanksgiving and say congrats to those with new babies.

All is well in Richfield. We just wanted to wish Dad a very happy Birthday. We love you Dad and appreciate all you do.Some of the members of our family were in a little accident yesterday Tonight, everyone is safe and sound and at home. Our family was really protected yesterday.Life is good. We love the Holidays. Hope the rest of you are all well.
Jeremy & Laura:
We really don't have much to share with everyone. We had a good Halloween in Richfield. Paul was very excited to go trick-or-treating. The kids looked really cute in their costumes. Pictures are on our blog. Our landlady painted our house. So, instead of a pale peach color, it can now be best described as Wendy's chocolate frosty. Other than that, we have raked leaves, done laundry, washed dishes and children, winterized our windows, and watched Bob the Builder about a hundred times. Katie has a new tooth on bottom bringing her total teeth count to 5.
We are excited for the upcoming holidays.

Exciting changes have been happening in our family! Britany and Jeremy have a new baby boy! See their blog for more info on that! We are all really happy for them and are looking forward to meeting him!
Riley, Tricia and kids vacationed in Arizona over Halloween, they ended up staying longer then planned, but the kids could not have been happier about it! There was a whole lot of swimming going on during the visit, it was a lot of fun!
Kellen, Camille and Liv are all surviving while Kellen is in school! Lots of hard hours are being put in so he can argue with the best of them!!!!
Now, we are all looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Dwayne & Patty:
We spent October going to the U of Utah football games. We went to Las Vegas for a weekend to visit Todd, Jade and Ryder. They are in their new home and doing well. We went to watch the Utes play UNLV while we were there, and we also saw Gary and Bev there. Ryder is walking around like crazy, even trying to escape through the doggie door. Jacob was Darth Vader for Halloween much to his father's delight. He is consumed with all Star Wars stuff. We are all looking for the holidays because we will all be here together.

October News
First, I apologize, I had this all posted on Sunday, it was kind of having a bad day, then I logged back on today to see something, and nothing was posted. So, here it is, in all its glory! (hopefully)
Grandpa & Grandma:
Hi Family, We just got back from St George where we saw the shows. We saw Annie and Adida. we had to wear coats. It wasn't as cold as the Nativity but it was cold for St George. We also had snow and rain for the first time this year.
Does anyone know if they are coming to St George for Thanksgiving? It is time to make plans. We will go along with your plans.
We hope everything is going well with all of you out there.
How about writing to the newsletter and letting us know how you are doing. I am impressed with The communications going on with My Space and blogs. This keeps us in touch.
I want you to know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints Is Heavenly Fathers church on the earth today. It is by these ordinances we can be a "forever family" We don't want any empty seats when we get back to Heavenly Father.
We are interested in your lives and what is going on.

Hi everyone!
Summer is over and now we are settling into fall and winter. We had a greatsummer up at the Ranch. We got a lot accomplished and had fun too.Everyone is back to work and back to school. We've all been busy canning.We got all the peaches we wanted for free so we bottled 157 bottles ofpeaches, about 40 jars of jam, and we froze 9 extra large bags of peaches.They make great smoothies. We wish you all a very Spooky Halloween.
Brent, Melissa & Boys,
Things are going well in our home! Perci and Harley went home in August; we miss them, but are happy for their family! Kolby started 4th grade and Jordan started 1st grade in August. They are both LOVING school! Braden loves having mommy to himself during the day, but is also excited when the boys come home! We are enjoying the cooler weather and getting excited for upcoming holidays! Kolby is still enjoying scouts; he recently received his Bear badge and is now working towards more arrow points. Jordan is count downing the days until his birthday later this month, he is VERY excited, and he wanted to make sure I got him a size 7 Halloween costume as he will be 7 by Halloween, not 6! Braden turned 2 in August and keeps us on our toes! He thinks he is just as big as his brothers and tries daily to prove it! He is sure a fun little guy! As for Brent and I not much has changed! Work is going well for Brent and I am trying to get caught up after Perci and Harley and get prepared for the next little one(s) to come! Life is good!

Things in Ferron, Utah are going well. Kara started dance lessons, Faith is playing socceer, Tanya is just finishing up with Tennis, Courtney is working to pay for a car, Cammie is anxious to get her birth certificate so she can get her learners permit and Miguel has just learned to spell his name. Life can't get any better than that!! John and Liz are due to have a baby this month. She looks like she is going to pop, so we hope it doesn't go too much longer. Verna went to St George a couple of weeks ago to watch Tanya play tennis and let KaRanda visit her family in ST. George and then last week went to a baby shower for Liz. While I was there, I got to see my newest grandchild, Brandt, who is absolutely adorable. In fact, I just bought him a Christmas present. My other cute grandson was off on outing so I didn't get to see him, so I will just assume he is doing well. So, busy busy. Dan is doing really well in school. Robert and Jamie are doing school online and Tristan had a birthday Saturday; he turned 7. Will played football for the Ferron League. He is quite a remarkable player. Davey seems to pick up every illness that comes around, but he is doing so much better than before. Life is good.
Gary & Bev Family:
Gary and Bev had a good month of September but a great start to the month of October. On labor day we had friends come and visit from San Diego so we spent time in the pool and visited with friends. Later in the week we went to San Diego for a day to say goodby to our old friend Lulu. She is a friend of ours that works for the same company as Gary. With her mother in her 90's they spend many holidays with us when we lived in California. Lulu had decided to return to the Philipines to spend her retirement years with her family. The rest of the month we spent planning for our vacation to the north eastern US. Saturday the 3rd we flew to Cleveland and traveled to the Kirtland area. We had the experience of listening to the first session of conference sunday morning in the Kirtland stake center. Then for two hours we toured with two sister missionaries the Historic Kirtland area that the church has restored. This day and for the whole week the crowds were not so we had private tours with the missionary workers. After the tour we heard the sunday second session at the Visitors center. What a wonderful day. On monday we went to Palmyra and for the next two days had a wonderful and spiritual feast at the Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah, Palmyra Temple and all the historic sites of the area. Next it was off to the Peter Whitmore farm and again a one on one tour with the current missionaries then to Sharon Vermont the birthplace of the prophet. For most the trip and especially on our way to Boston the trees were turning and the area was in full color. We got lost and spend many extra hours in New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. Totally worth being lost and seeing the old towns and landscapes. Finally we are in Boston and toured the American History sites along the Freedom Trail with more fresh fish than was healthy. So what a month and we recommend it to anyone.
Jeremy & Britany Family:
We have an announcement! No, we are not pregnant, but are expecting another child in our family. Kenyon's birthmom is pregnant and has contacted us to adopt her baby due the first of December. I know what you are all thinking - will it work out this time or turn into the legal battle of last time? We are moving forward with faith knowing that she has the right to choose, but are very hopeful that we will have this sweet baby boy/girl in our home very soon. She is getting an ultrasound soon and we will know the gender. Until then, we still have baby Jasmine (our foster baby) in our home and it looks like she will stay for a while. She is a sweet baby and the kids adore her to pieces. Maya is loving preschool and soccer. Kenyon had a successful eye surgery to correct his drifting eyes. We are all loving the cooler weather - only in the 80s! Come visit!

Dwayne & Patty Family:
Not much is going on for our family this month. Just the same routine work, school and so forth. Todd and Jade have been getting settled in their new home. Heather is busy with school and work, and also coming home to visit a couple times. Steph started a new job this week. Ben and Alissa are doing well. We are looking forward to the Christmas holidays when hopefully all our kids and grandkids will be here!
Hal & Diana Family:
Not much to say. Hal was released from the Bishopric, Fall has come to Richfield, School is busy and crazy, My family seems to be doing great. No one is pregnant, not one died, no one is getting married and no one has the swine flu. What else can I say?
Jeremy & Laura Family:
We have been sick. The whole family had sniffles, and clogged noses, and yuckie coughes. We missed the opportunity to go to Saint George and watch the play Aida. We heard the rest of the family had a good time. I am continuing in school. Between figuring out Validity Coefficients and why most theorists were frustrated with Freud, I have been busy. Only a year left, yeah. I need to get an internship site next summer and we are good to go.
Laura has been picking apples and on monday will be making apple sauce.
The kids are growing well. We are planning on visiting the pumpkin patch soon and Paul is so excited.
We had a great conference weekend. It rained. It was perfect to stay inside and drink hot chocolate.
We had the oil changed in our car.
We turned on our heater for the first time.
Laura continues to go to the Gym, losing six pounds since the beginning of August. She has started a great new fad called eat better and exercise more.
We have put up our Halloween decorations. Laura sewed them this year. Paul is going to be a scary pumpkin and Kathryn is going to be a pumpkin, but not a nerdy kind of pumpkin. You can check it out on our blog after Halloween.
Life is a good. Have a nice month.

Dwayne & Patty Family:
Not much is going on for our family this month. Just the same routine work, school and so forth. Todd and Jade have been getting settled in their new home. Heather is busy with school and work, and also coming home to visit a couple times. Steph started a new job this week. Ben and Alissa are doing well. We are looking forward to the Christmas holidays when hopefully all our kids and grandkids will be here!
Hal & Diana Family:
Not much to say. Hal was released from the Bishopric, Fall has come to Richfield, School is busy and crazy, My family seems to be doing great. No one is pregnant, not one died, no one is getting married and no one has the swine flu. What else can I say?
Jeremy & Laura Family:
We have been sick. The whole family had sniffles, and clogged noses, and yuckie coughes. We missed the opportunity to go to Saint George and watch the play Aida. We heard the rest of the family had a good time. I am continuing in school. Between figuring out Validity Coefficients and why most theorists were frustrated with Freud, I have been busy. Only a year left, yeah. I need to get an internship site next summer and we are good to go.
Laura has been picking apples and on monday will be making apple sauce.
The kids are growing well. We are planning on visiting the pumpkin patch soon and Paul is so excited.
We had a great conference weekend. It rained. It was perfect to stay inside and drink hot chocolate.
We had the oil changed in our car.
We turned on our heater for the first time.
Laura continues to go to the Gym, losing six pounds since the beginning of August. She has started a great new fad called eat better and exercise more.
We have put up our Halloween decorations. Laura sewed them this year. Paul is going to be a scary pumpkin and Kathryn is going to be a pumpkin, but not a nerdy kind of pumpkin. You can check it out on our blog after Halloween.

Summer Fun!!
As I read all the posts, it sounds like Shannon and Patty need to have a chat about a pan!!
Grandma & Grandpa:
Dear Family members,
It has been a little over a month since our reunion. We again thank Patty for her work on the reunion. We enjoyed visiting with each of you. Verna said her family would do it next year. we want these reunions to continue. Our life has been very routine since our last newsletter. We do the normal activities. We do indexing, etc. We enjoy your blogs and learning of your activities. It appears our Thanksgiving Party will be small. We can understand your situations. we welcome whoever wants to come. We are enjoying our new Temple in Draper. We enjoy anyone who comes to visit. We did take a trip to Chicago during the summer . Most of you knew about that. That was the only trip we took accept for the Rexburg reunion. When one gets older one takes fewer trips. We are both fine and do stay busy doing our thing. I guess I don't have much to write about tonight. I'll do better next time. We pray for the ill and unemployed in our family.

Our family had a very fun, eventful summer. Eric enjoyed a youth conference trip to Rexburg, and while there was called to be the Young Men's President. He is so excited about it! He loves being in the Young Men's program. The kids met up with him for the Westover family reunion, while I stayed home with Jessica. So we all had a vacation of sorts -- just not all together! Emma broke her wrist by falling of her bunk bed early in the morning. Her first cast was pink, and her current one glows in the dark. She has begun 1st grade and loves it. Emma, Dallin, and Liz all have their own bunnies. Emma's had babies, but the mom ate/didn't care for them, and they all died. It was sad. Liz's bunny should have babies soon. Hopefully her bunny will take care of her babies! We also had 3 lambs born this summer, so we've had lots of growth in our family.
Dan & Verna Family:
We had a really quick summer. We didn't do anything really out of the ordinary. We just sort of relaxed at home. We are now all back in school and are looking forward to Christmas break. Miguel is in all day kindergarten so the house is quiet. Both Courtney and Tanya have jobs now, Kara is in Young Womens, and Faith is getting really good on her skateboard. KaRanda did visit with her brother and sister during the month of July and enjoyed herself. Otherwise, we are all doing fine.
Robert & Jamie Family:
We had a great summer. We got to go camping a few times and enjoyed each others company. We spent most of June at the Dr with Davey. We are very blessed to have things turn out the way they did. July was spent mostly working and growing our giant garden. I have no idea how August flew by and what we did. Summer went by way too fast and now the kids are back in school. They all like their teachers and are trying to get back to the school routine. We have all five kids in school this year. Davey is in eighth grade and disappointed that he could not play football this year because of Dr's orders but he will next year. Becca is in sixth grade and is very happy to have her class with most of her friends. Will is in fifth grade and is ready to start playing football on the little league team. Tristen is in first grade he has two different teachers and likes both of them. Tyrel is in all day kindergarten he is loving the fact that he can finally go to school with the big kids. Robert is now working with John and is enjoying his job. Jamie has been getting more hours at the bank and is trying to adjust to having all of the kids in school. It is a little strange to have some alone time and be able to clean the house and have it stay that way for a few hours.
Gary & Bev Family:
July was a little crazy for Gary and Bev. On Jul 2 they left Arizona and Bev got back on the 20, with Gary flying back and forth for work. In time we visited Cokeville to help build a new greenhouse for Bev's dad, We celebrated the 4th in Wyoming.yes the few people there had activities and even fireworks. Then we went to a cabin on Bear Lake with Bev's family celebrate her dad's 80th Birthday. Everyone was there but Morgan's son on a mission in Alaska. It was a good thing it was a large cabin with 42 of us there. It was so fun to be in a cooler place to swim, boat, golf, and hike Menitacka Cave, visit and just relax for 5 days.
Then back to Salt Lake to visit friends and Gary to golf. Then it was great to see all of you at the Wilkinson Reunion picnic. It is so fun to see everyone that could be there. By that time I was tired and ready to heard home. Vacations are wonderful and visiting relatives but it was great to be home. August started out quiet but like most months changed quickly.
Riley and Tricia's Chelsey and Corbin started school. Chelsey is in 3rd grade and Corbin in 2nd. they are growing so fast. Keegan will be 3 in Sept and he started pre-school 2 days a week. Kaylix turned 2 in August his hand is still healing from the burn from the iron. Riley is still working at UPS and Tricia is busy with 4 very active kids and helping with the PTA again this year.
Britany and Jeremy have had a busy summer with Utah and California trips visiting both of their families and friends. Jeremy's niece Olivia is no longer with them. She is back in UT with her parents. Maya is 4 and is so ready to go back to pre-school after Labor day (mom is really ready). Kenyon is 2 and has turned in to quite a chatter box. He loves to play with his trains and boats at grandma's house. Both of the kids loves to swim all the time. Britany and Jeremy have a 7 month old foster girl. Jasmine has fit into their family really well. They will probably have her for a few months. She is a cutie and everyone really likes her.
Kellen and Camille traveled this summer like all of us. We have to get away from the heat for a while. They went to UT and California also. Camille's brother left on his mission for Moscrow Russia in July. So they had a lot of family activities to enjoy with him and her family. Kellen worked at the law school this summer in the admission office so that kept him busy. School started for him again the middle of August. So it is back to the books for him. He has 2 more years. Camille is busy with a active 2 year old. Olivia has such an imagination. She loves being a princess or a mermaid. She also loves to swim and has just given up her floaties and is swimming on her own the length of the pool "just like Maya", as she says.
Bev attended Education Week the middle of August. It was the first time. She went with her sister Roxzann and her niece. Loved it, got to see Maud Mary and group. Visited for a lunch break. Will go again next year! Maud Mary I know that is a shocker! After going to ed week then Bev went with her parents, sister, and brother up to northern Idaho to Kamia for her dad's sister and husbands 50th wedding anniversary party. I have now been in Grangeville, Kamia, and all the other little towns in the hills that mom and dad talk about from their mission in the Spokane Mission. It was great to see the beautiful country and visit with cousins that I hadn't seen in a long time.
Hope things will quiet down after Labor Day (we will see).

We can't believe that summer is gone already, where did it go. Anyways here is our summer. Todd was offered a job in Las Vegas, so they moved there, bought a house and are scheduled to move in in about three weeks. Heather enjoyed her break from school, and worked during the day and socialized at night. Ben and Alissa went to New York for a week, so I was able to go and be with Jacob while they were gone. We had the best time. Steph and Heather took a road trip together to San Francisco while I was there also. Jacob loved having us all there. He kept us going in the right direction, whether it was to the park or to get ice cream. He knows his directions! Ben and Alissa took us into the city when they got back. I loved the chocolate factory!!! We had the Wilkinson family reunion in July and it was good to see those who were able to come. A big thank you to all who brought food to help out . Stephanie moved back home to go to school up here. We love having her here! We hope that everyone else had a fantastic summer!!!!

We have had a busy summer so far...we bought a beagle puppy on Kelly's birthday in June. We named him Oakley and he has kept us VERY busy! From potty training the little guy to teaching him how to play fetch, it has all been an adventure! He follows us around the house and taught himself how to drive us crazy. Other than work, we have been keeping busy with helping my parents move and remodel their house, continue to decorate the house, starting school, and learning how to cook new meals.

There are several happenings coming up this summer that you are anxiously awaiting. They are so ingrained in your psyche that you certainly don't need another reminder from me. See you there.
Mother and I are still scheduled to fly to Chicago on the 22nd of this month and return on the 25th. It's a music thing and we are looking forward to a lovely time.
We have been evaluating our appliances and have decided to replace our refrigerator. Not sure of its age but, like us, it's old and still operates well but uses a lot of energy. we'll let Rocky Mountain Power pick it up and haul it away unless someone in the family is in need of a good used refrigerator. It's a Magic Chef and has a capacity of 21 cubic feet. It has an ice maker and is self defrosting. It's almond colored and can be yours at no cost to you except you must pick it up--we don't deliver at that price. First come gets it.
We are both reasonably well and deliriously happy to have been wedded for almost 58 years and to have such a swell family as you-all.

Not too much new here. Kolby and Jordan are so VERY excited for school to be out! They are excited for summer activities and are counting down the days till they can go to the ranch with Grandma and Grandpa! Perci, Braden and Harley are loving the warm weather! Perci and Braden are getting good at riding their bikes and Harley has finally decided grass is OK and will crawl on it. He has been tasting rocks, bark, dirt and all the other fun outdoor stuff that we won’t tell his mom about! J We are enjoying our zoo and dinosaur park passes and look forward to more outings! We are also looking forward to the reunions this month and next and seeing everyone! I am so glad school is out! The pressure is off to get everyone up, ready, and out the door by 8:10 every morning for a few months! Jessica is doing great -- she is sleeping 4-6 hrs. at night which is so nice. Liz has gotten into anything and everything over the last month (poop, medicine, eggs, insecticide, sugar, cereal). I seriously have about gone crazy a few times and prayed that Liz would survive childhood and that I would survive her! Eric is enjoying a break in school and has taken the kids hiking, worked in his garden, and helped out tons around the house. Emma and Dallin are being great helpers most of the time and enjoying life as usual. That's about it for now! I suppose we will be seeing many of you soon!

Summer is going great. Busy but we are really enjoying being out of school.
We went to SL during the first week of the summer. Sara "graduated" from kindergarten. They sang cute songs, said cute things and were basically cute. It was so cute! Jamie had to go to SL for some training for her 2 hr a week teller job so her youngest two hung out with us. While we were there we stayed at Mom and Dads and they took us to see Melissa and Shannon and Maud Mary. It was fun. We also visited a zoo that my Miguel still talks about.
This summer is full of doctor, dentist etc appointments. So, we are staying busy. Remember someone once said, "Come what may and Love it." We are really loving it.
Upcoming event: Brandon and Suzanne will be blessing their baby in July. John and Liz will find out what their baby is in about 3 weeks. We are so excited. Enjoy your summer!
Brandon & Suzanne Family:
Hello Family,
We decided it's time we came out of hiding to send off an update. Brandt Ki was born 4/30 8lbs 2oz and 20" tall. He had to spend most of his first week on a bilirubin light bed due to the doctor having to pull him out of a too small of an incision while the assisting doctor pushed down on Suzanne's stomach. That caused bruising in his head and jaundice. He then lost more than 10% of his weight. All this required daily early morning trips for blood tests and weighing. Suzanne is now working night and day to take care of his pooping problems. He is pooping so much that he is getting open sores on his bottom. We are single handedly keeping the diaper companies in business. Our other son is enjoying his little brother and is constantly wanting to help. He still struggles with the concept of playing by himself. He hates not being able to go outside.
End of May, we took our yearly drive up to Snowbird to give Keaton some fresh air and freedom to just play. He loved swimming (jumping in the pool), hiking, playing arcade games, listening to a bluegrass band, painting model cars and planes, going to church there and playing with his cousins. Brandon and Suzanne enjoyed having a room of their own and the help we got with both kids.
Now that we are home, we are planning/hoping that Brandt's bowel problems will be under control to bless him on Sunday 7/5 at 1pm. We no longer serve in the Nursery and Brandon has been called as the employment chairman for our ward. For those of you that would like your first glimpses of Brandt, come rain, snow, mudslides or continued pooping, we will be at the Hinckley reunion on 6/17. See you there.
Gary & Bev Family:
There has been a lot going on with all the members of this portion of the Wilkinson family! There has been a lot of ball games and a lot of traveling a lot of excitement with school out and a lot of fun!

Not much has changed for us in May. I ran in the Race for the Cure on May 9. This year I ran for a friend in my ward who has 2 types of cancer one of them being Stage 4 Breast Cancer. I ran my best race yet coming in at 28 minutes. Next year Steph and Heather will be running with me!
School is out for me as of June 5. Todd graduated in May, and Todd, Jade and Ryder moved to Las Vegas where Todd will be working. He is working at a new hospital in Vegas. We are so excited for him and his family.
Ben and Alissa are doing well. Jacob started at a new school and loves it, and says his new friends are nice.
Heather and Stephanie are busy with work and enjoying the summer in St. George. Heather is running in her first 5k on June 5. Good Luck Heather!
Also don't forget the family reunion is coming up on July 18. Many of you have RSVP. If you haven't please let me know what your status is so that I can start planning food. Thanks!!!!!

The kids and Laura spent two weeks in San Diego with her family. Jeremy was in Logan for class. He came down for a long Memorial Day weekend with us in SD. We hit Disneyland, the zoo, the park, the beach, and Laura even got to go to the temple for her cousin's wedding. Lots of fun, sunscreen, and cousins.
Big milestones included Paul turning 3, and Katie getting her first tooth, rolling over, and scooting on her belly. Please check out the video of our excursion on our blog.

I am so glad school is out! The pressure is off to get everyone up, ready, and out the door by 8:10 every morning for a few months! Jessica is doing great -- she is sleeping 4-6 hrs. at night which is so nice. Liz has gotten into anything and everything over the last month (poop, medicine, eggs, insecticide, sugar, cereal). I seriously have about gone crazy a few times and prayed that Liz would survive childhood and that I would survive her! Eric is enjoying a break in school and has taken the kids hiking, worked in his garden, and helped out tons around the house. Emma and Dallin are being great helpers most of the time and enjoying life as usual. That's about it for now! I suppose we will be seeing many of you soon!
Dan & Verna Family:
Summer is going great. Busy but we are really enjoying being out of school.
We went to SL during the first week of the summer. Sara "graduated" from kindergarten. They sang cute songs, said cute things and were basically cute. It was so cute! Jamie had to go to SL for some training for her 2 hr a week teller job so her youngest two hung out with us. While we were there we stayed at Mom and Dads and they took us to see Melissa and Shannon and Maud Mary. It was fun. We also visited a zoo that my Miguel still talks about.
This summer is full of doctor, dentist etc appointments. So, we are staying busy. Remember someone once said, "Come what may and Love it." We are really loving it.
Upcoming event: Brandon and Suzanne will be blessing their baby in July. John and Liz will find out what their baby is in about 3 weeks. We are so excited. Enjoy your summer!

Hello Family,
We decided it's time we came out of hiding to send off an update. Brandt Ki was born 4/30 8lbs 2oz and 20" tall. He had to spend most of his first week on a bilirubin light bed due to the doctor having to pull him out of a too small of an incision while the assisting doctor pushed down on Suzanne's stomach. That caused bruising in his head and jaundice. He then lost more than 10% of his weight. All this required daily early morning trips for blood tests and weighing. Suzanne is now working night and day to take care of his pooping problems. He is pooping so much that he is getting open sores on his bottom. We are single handedly keeping the diaper companies in business. Our other son is enjoying his little brother and is constantly wanting to help. He still struggles with the concept of playing by himself. He hates not being able to go outside.
End of May, we took our yearly drive up to Snowbird to give Keaton some fresh air and freedom to just play. He loved swimming (jumping in the pool), hiking, playing arcade games, listening to a bluegrass band, painting model cars and planes, going to church there and playing with his cousins. Brandon and Suzanne enjoyed having a room of their own and the help we got with both kids.
Now that we are home, we are planning/hoping that Brandt's bowel problems will be under control to bless him on Sunday 7/5 at 1pm. We no longer serve in the Nursery and Brandon has been called as the employment chairman for our ward. For those of you that would like your first glimpses of Brandt, come rain, snow, mudslides or continued pooping, we will be at the Hinckley reunion on 6/17. See you there.

There has been a lot going on with all the members of this portion of the Wilkinson family! There has been a lot of ball games and a lot of traveling a lot of excitement with school out and a lot of fun!

Dwayne & Patty Family:
Not much has changed for us in May. I ran in the Race for the Cure on May 9. This year I ran for a friend in my ward who has 2 types of cancer one of them being Stage 4 Breast Cancer. I ran my best race yet coming in at 28 minutes. Next year Steph and Heather will be running with me!
School is out for me as of June 5. Todd graduated in May, and Todd, Jade and Ryder moved to Las Vegas where Todd will be working. He is working at a new hospital in Vegas. We are so excited for him and his family.
Ben and Alissa are doing well. Jacob started at a new school and loves it, and says his new friends are nice.
Heather and Stephanie are busy with work and enjoying the summer in St. George. Heather is running in her first 5k on June 5. Good Luck Heather!
Also don't forget the family reunion is coming up on July 18. Many of you have RSVP. If you haven't please let me know what your status is so that I can start planning food. Thanks!!!!!

The kids and Laura spent two weeks in San Diego with her family. Jeremy was in Logan for class. He came down for a long Memorial Day weekend with us in SD. We hit Disneyland, the zoo, the park, the beach, and Laura even got to go to the temple for her cousin's wedding. Lots of fun, sunscreen, and cousins.
Big milestones included Paul turning 3, and Katie getting her first tooth, rolling over, and scooting on her belly. Please check out the video of our excursion on our blog.

With the roses in full bloom, summer has arrived in St George. We will be returning to Draper on May 2. Now everyone knows where we are.
We have two new members in our family. Jessica Wilkinson arrived on the 23 of April. Brandt Ky Higbee arrived on 30 of April. We welcome these new members of our family . We are grateful for their safe arrival. and pray for the return to good health of their mothers and the babies. This is # 28 and 29 Great grandchildren.
As we watch the blogs, our families have much more interesting lives than Grandpa and I do. We are enjoying our life. We are both well.
With the arrival of Summer , comes the time for reunions. On Wed 17 of June, there will be a Hinckley reunion in the Barnes Park in Kaysville. This is located At the Kaysville exit West of the freeway This will be from 4 P M to 10 p M . There will be games to play and Ducks to watch and feed. We will have family members here from Georgia and Tennessee..
Even if you are there for a short time it will keep me from being a Grandma with out children. I am proud of our family and I need you to come. Meat and drink is being furnished. we would ask you to bring Salads or desserts or whatever. There is play equipment and things to do. Put this on your calendar and I will send a reminder. We hope to see all of you during the summer.

I took a trip to SL on Saturday and visited my new grandson, Brandt. Can I just tell all of you out there I have the cutest grand kids? We are all looking forward to summer and school being out. I especially am looking forward to summer and being home with my girls and with Miguel. We are all doing great as of today. Plans for summer? Not many. Dan will keep going to school during the summer. Bummer! But the rest of us will just enjoy each other since there are not a lot of jobs offered in Emery County during the summer. Oh well, such is life.

April has been a nice and cool month in Arizona. We have had a good spring but May is bring the hot weather. Riley and family came to visit us for a few days around conference time. It was great having them here with us. We got to swim and play.
Then Bev, Britany & Kids, and Camille & Olivia drove to Utah for the Easter week. The boys Gary, Kellen, and Jeremy flew in for the weekend to be at Chelsey's Baptism on Saturday. It was quite a day what with the building being changed at the last minute, not having the paperwork and not having cameras, but it was a wonderful event and a special day Chelsey.
As most of you may have read on Britany's blog she has another child in her home. They have taken in Jeremy's brothers little 2 year old girl for a few months. It has changed things in their home, but they all are adjusting well.
Kellen has finished his first year of law school and is now studying hard for finals. We can't believe that Kellen, Camille, and Olivia have lived here almost a year. It has gone so fast. We love having them here with us. Camille and Olivia are going to go to LA to spend time with Kate, Camille's sister over the Mother's Day weekend.

We went down to ST. George for a small Spring break. It was great to see Todd, Jade, Ryder, Stephanie and Heather. It was great to have warm weather and not have to deal with the April snow. We are all staying busy with work. Todd will be graduate this month with a degree in nursing. ( He is glad to be done with school) .

Hey all, we have had a lot going on here in St George! We found us a house and bought it! It took longer than expected to get into it because we had to deal with the state in trying to get the $6,000 down payment, but we finally got it all squared away and are happily in our new home! We have been here about a week now and love it! We are still trying to get things out of boxes and put away and getting decorations up but we are slowly getting there. Now that we are in a house, we have begun the search for our first child....a little beagle puppy! If anyone knows anyone that are selling them, let us know! We enjoyed watching Uncle Dwayne on the news the other day and getting to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma before they headed back up north.

Grandpa & Grandma:
Dear Family Members,I apologize for goofing up last month. I hope it doesn't happen again.
This is the last Sunday of March. Next Sunday is April Conference. I hope each of you will watch at least parts of it.
We are still in St George and will be until sometime in May. We seem to stay very busy doing our things.We didn't do our Eye screening this year. I am not sure why. Perhaps economics.
Probably the biggest event was the dedication of the Draper Temple. We look forward to going to it.
We don't have many visitors but this week-end Verna and her girls came to see us, Hal and Diana and part of their family came to see us,We enjoyed seeing them and invite others to come and see us.
The trees are blossoming. Spring is here. we turn on the television to discover most of you folks are having snow. That. of course eliminates the folks living in Arizona. They are probably envious they can't build a snow man. We all have our problems. Those members living in St George also avoid the snow. Tough luck!
School will soon be out for those attending school. Make some plans for a delightful summer.
I guess my message for all of you is to Perhaps plant a vegetable garden, try to have a savings plan, Get your food storage built up, and remember if you are prepared you won't need to fear. I remember the depression years . we struggled and made it, so can we now.(does that sound familiar?) Any way keep the good work and always remember we love you, so does your Heavenly Father. he knows what you are going through and he is there to help you along the way.

We are still here! I guess our biggest news is that after YEARS of working 2 jobs, Brent was able to quit his 2nd job! Yea! Not sure what we will do with Saturdays off! (the kids have many plans for him! J) I can’t remember him ever having Saturdays off! He is still working a lot M-F 12 hour shifts, but he will actually be home more then he was before, which makes us all happy! Kolby and Jordan are on spring break this week and so excited! I hope they will want to go back to school! They are VERY excited for warmer weather! The younger kids have been sick off and on for over 2 months. Just when one gets well, someone else gets sick and shares (not what I want them sharing!) with the others. It has been a vicious circle! Yet another reason we are excited for warm weather! Braden is getting tubes in his ears later this month! I hope that will help him feel better! Perci is loving being able to play outside! She is quite the little mommy, repeating everything I say, including telling Braden how to ask for a drink (we are still working on HER asking right!) but she can tell Braden how to ask! Harley is crawling and into EVERYTHING! Him and Braden are quite the trouble making pair and definitely keep me busy! He still doesn’t sleep all night, I think I have forgotten what it’s like to sleep all night! Nothing new with me, just trying to stay sane in all the crazy busyness around here! All and all we are doing OK! Busy, but happy and so thankful for a steady job and GREAT family support!

The month of March was a busy month at the Higbee house. Dan had spring break and he and Robert went to California to visit his mother. We are expecting to loose our 2 year old Kaden this coming week. In his place we will be welcoming in a 4 year old. We also welcomed Cammie into our home this month. Plus, I became a legal guardian to KaRanda. All my girls are doing terrific. We have spring break coming up this week. We did go down to ST. George for a few days of shopping and enjoying life. It was really fun. I am also happy to announce that John and Liz are expecting once more. She is due at about Halloween time. That will bring my grandchildren to 11 counting Tisha and Salomon's boys. I love it!
Robert & Jamie Family:
Hello Family:
The Higbee family in Clawson, UT is doing well. Will is in baseball, he has had 2 games but due to Mother Nature they have both been moved to different dates. He is real excited because he plays Pitcher, Catcher, and Short Stop. He is very excited to be able to play in a game, that is if the weather allows him to, I keep telling him that he will have plenty of games to play. Davey is on a swimming team, Castle Dale has opened a new pool and has allowed anyone with swimming experience to join a team. He is doing really good and he is enjoying it very much. We just had a Scout Court of Honor and he has earned his First Class Rank. He will be getting his Star Rank after his 4month waiting period. And working hard to get his badges he needs to get his Life Rank 6months after that. Becca is doing very well in school and is looking forward to summer. Tristen and Ty are doing well and looking forward for summer break as well. Jamie is working hard with Taxes and Book keeping. She also is the Family History Consultant for the ward and is enjoying that calling very much. She is a very hard working full time Mom and is not looking forward to summer break. But we are all looking forward to summer to go camping and getting out in the open to play in the great out doors. Hope everything is going well for everyone else.
Brandon & Suzanne Family:
Hello Family,
March was an enjoyable month for us. We had our first family picnic in the park, baseball game (involving plastic bat and ball) and kite flying. The bad thing is the dollar kite took a dive and needed repairs. Repairs have been made and we're anxiously awaiting the next wind filled day. We visited Eric and Shannon's farm this month. Keaton had a good time playing with the kids. Brandon is considering putting in a raspberry bush. He still misses Grandma and Grandpa's raspberry bush that he would eat off of every chance he got. He feels it will be an essential item in our food supply. We are now in the last month of awaiting the arrival of our second child. We are excited and nervous that it will or not be a boy. Keaton's excitement for a baby brother is on a new high. He continues to be full of energy and we seem to be decreasing in energy. In case anyone is wondering, we will not be attending the Westover reunion this year. To end, we would like to say congrats to Chelsey on her baptism and apologize that we are not able to attend.
John, Liz and Sara:
We have been really busy for the last several weeks, thankfully, in a good way. We got back from our little cruise on on the 10th of March and it couldn't have come sooner. It was a really great time but on the last day at sea, I got sick....not sea sick.....morning sickness. So that being said, yes, we are pregnant again! I'm due October 29th and we could be more excited. I went to my first doctors appointment at the end of March when I was 10 weeks to the day. We got to hear the baby's heart beat at a strong 170 beats per minute and that was the best sound ever. An ultrasound was done to make sure on the due date and the doctor thought there might even be twins. Thankfully, only one showed up but I must say, a VERY active one. He/she was dancing around like crazy! It's the funniest thing to see. We will find out what the sex of the baby is at the end of May. I will be done with the first trimester in another week and can't wait for the lovely symptoms common to this time ease off. It will be nice to have a life again instead of staying in bed almost all day.
A lot of great things are happening with our business and it is continuing to grow by huge leaps and bounds. We have hired a few new sales reps and many are already getting several accounts and starting to make some good money. We are very grateful to have our business in this economy. We are truly blessed.
Sara is the funnest kid ever and she continues to amaze us with her creative personality everyday. She is also doing exceptionally well at school and got top marks on her last report card. Also, she was one of five students in her class to be chosen to be in an advanced reading course. We couldn't be more proud of her. She is hoping to have a baby sister and she says she will be sad if it's a boy. The only thing she is worried about is if the baby drools on her toys, she definitely doesn't want that.

Arizona is HOT!
We just got back from visiting family in Arizona, and we had a lot of fun! If you get to go and visit, don't forget your sunscreen, the kids swam for over 3 hours and were not well protected by SPF, they are roasted, toasted and fried! They all are a bright shade of red. Chelsey has blisters on her shoulders from her burn. Us pasty white folks who haven't seen the sun on months, we were not very smart!
Anyways, we had a lot of fun visiting everyone and spending time together watching conference. What a great conference it was too!
Chelsey has started softball and is doing great so far this season (with only 1 game played!!) She is also looking forward to getting baptized this weekend, the invitation still stands if anyone is interested in coming, but I know that everyone is busy with the Easter weekend!
Corbin just started baseball practice today! Riley is coaching with our Brother in Law, it should be a lot of fun again this year.
Keegan is still sick, (see my blog for updates!) He is being heavily medicated at this point!
Kaylix, well, he grabbed my iron after I ironed my shirt and burned his entire hand. It is really bad. We visited the Dr, yet again for advice. We are taking good care of it hoping that we will not have to have skin grafts done on it.
Tricia is about ready to pull all her hair out with all the times that we have been to the Dr. the last few weeks. We have much more to come too! Riley is still working really hard and is looking forward to taking time to spend with his kids with softball and baseball season upon us!

Davey is on a swimming team, Castle Dale has opened a new pool and has allowed anyone with swimming experience to join a team. He is doing really good and he is enjoying it very much. We just had a Scout Court of Honor and he has earned his First Class Rank. He will be getting his Star Rank after his 4month waiting period. And working hard to get his badges he needs to get his Life Rank 6months after that. Becca is doing very well in school and is looking forward to summer. Tristen and Ty are doing well and looking forward for summer break as well. Jamie is working hard with Taxes and Book keeping. She also is the Family History Consultant for the ward and is enjoying that calling very much. She is a very hard working full time Mom and is not looking forward to summer break. But we are all looking forward to summer to go camping and getting out in the open to play in the great out doors. Hope everything is going well for everyone else.

Hello Family,
March was an enjoyable month for us. We had our first family picnic in the park, baseball game (involving plastic bat and ball) and kite flying. The bad thing is the dollar kite took a dive and needed repairs. Repairs have been made and we're anxiously awaiting the next wind filled day. We visited Eric and Shannon's farm this month. Keaton had a good time playing with the kids. Brandon is considering putting in a raspberry bush. He still misses Grandma and Grandpa's raspberry bush that he would eat off of every chance he got. He feels it will be an essential item in our food supply. We are now in the last month of awaiting the arrival of our second child. We are excited and nervous that it will or not be a boy. Keaton's excitement for a baby brother is on a new high. He continues to be full of energy and we seem to be decreasing in energy. In case anyone is wondering, we will not be attending the Westover reunion this year. To end, we would like to say congrats to Chelsey on her baptism and apologize that we are not able to attend.
John, Liz and Sara:
We have been really busy for the last several weeks, thankfully, in a good way. We got back from our little cruise on on the 10th of March and it couldn't have come sooner. It was a really great time but on the last day at sea, I got sick....not sea sick.....morning sickness. So that being said, yes, we are pregnant again! I'm due October 29th and we could be more excited. I went to my first doctors appointment at the end of March when I was 10 weeks to the day. We got to hear the baby's heart beat at a strong 170 beats per minute and that was the best sound ever. An ultrasound was done to make sure on the due date and the doctor thought there might even be twins. Thankfully, only one showed up but I must say, a VERY active one. He/she was dancing around like crazy! It's the funniest thing to see. We will find out what the sex of the baby is at the end of May. I will be done with the first trimester in another week and can't wait for the lovely symptoms common to this time ease off. It will be nice to have a life again instead of staying in bed almost all day.
A lot of great things are happening with our business and it is continuing to grow by huge leaps and bounds. We have hired a few new sales reps and many are already getting several accounts and starting to make some good money. We are very grateful to have our business in this economy. We are truly blessed.
Sara is the funnest kid ever and she continues to amaze us with her creative personality everyday. She is also doing exceptionally well at school and got top marks on her last report card. Also, she was one of five students in her class to be chosen to be in an advanced reading course. We couldn't be more proud of her. She is hoping to have a baby sister and she says she will be sad if it's a boy. The only thing she is worried about is if the baby drools on her toys, she definitely doesn't want that.

Arizona is HOT!
We just got back from visiting family in Arizona, and we had a lot of fun! If you get to go and visit, don't forget your sunscreen, the kids swam for over 3 hours and were not well protected by SPF, they are roasted, toasted and fried! They all are a bright shade of red. Chelsey has blisters on her shoulders from her burn. Us pasty white folks who haven't seen the sun on months, we were not very smart!
Anyways, we had a lot of fun visiting everyone and spending time together watching conference. What a great conference it was too!
Chelsey has started softball and is doing great so far this season (with only 1 game played!!) She is also looking forward to getting baptized this weekend, the invitation still stands if anyone is interested in coming, but I know that everyone is busy with the Easter weekend!
Corbin just started baseball practice today! Riley is coaching with our Brother in Law, it should be a lot of fun again this year.
Keegan is still sick, (see my blog for updates!) He is being heavily medicated at this point!
Kaylix, well, he grabbed my iron after I ironed my shirt and burned his entire hand. It is really bad. We visited the Dr, yet again for advice. We are taking good care of it hoping that we will not have to have skin grafts done on it.
Tricia is about ready to pull all her hair out with all the times that we have been to the Dr. the last few weeks. We have much more to come too! Riley is still working really hard and is looking forward to taking time to spend with his kids with softball and baseball season upon us!

Greetings from Richfield,I really do not have much to say this time however, last Saturday we went and bought two new Carbon Monoxide alarms. Check out Laura's blog and you will figure it out. Pretty scary what could happen. We are so grateful they had one. Kelly and Steph are moving into their own place the end of this month. Jared and Brittany have bought a home in Nephi and will move in the end of May. Jared is now working in Nephi as a Highway Patrol. Everyone in the family is doing well!

Not much going on with the Jeremy and Laura Jensen family. Just living life. Laura is going to San Diego in a few weeks for her sister's wedding. Then, again in May for two weeks with the kids while Jeremy is at Utah State taking a week long class. He will go to San Diego for a long Memorial Day weekend. Eric got promoted to a supervisor at work. We are really excited about that. He has also been sick and finally went to the doctor and was told he had sinusitis. I'm looking forward to him recovering finally! Everyone else is doing well! We had family come visit from Nebraska (to mourn my 30th birthday with me) and had lots of fun with them.

Our family is doing great! Tanya just turned 17 and is getting ready to go to the Jr. Prom. Courtney has tried out for the Emery High School Softball team, Faith and Kara are doing well in Karate. KaRanda has started playing the saxaphone and little Kaden is still a cutie. He gets to go home on the weekends now and we miss him but he is doing well. Cammie is due to come home on Friday, Mar 6. We are all excited for her to come home. Dan is struggling in school. Calculas is not his cup of tea, but he is surviving. Meantime, I am doing fine.

Hello Family,
Suzanne continues to trudge along in our final trimester and we are very anxious to see what our baby will be like. Keaton is excited to play peek-a-boo. We are hoping for sleep. Keaton enjoyed receiving and giving valentine's to his friends. We had a healthy December and Keaton and I were sick for January. Keaton had an ear infection and pneumonia, his fever was a high of 106. In February, we attended the Draper Temple open house with our non-member neighbors. Keaton did very well waiting, watching, riding and walking through the Temple. His friends wanted him to play with them but he did not want anything to do with them during the 2 hours. It was a nice time to answer questions from our friends and set their minds more at ease about Mormons. We still serve in the Nursery with an average of about 20 attending each Sunday. Keaton loves Sunbeams and his teachers speak highly of him. Today Keaton was asked, "What calling would you like to have when you are older?". Keaton answered, "I want to make copies in the library?" Each Sunday, Brandon makes copies for the Nursery kids to color on and Keaton helps.

We have been crazy around our house the past few weeks. There has been a lot of sickness going through the family. Keegan was so sick with a stomach virus for almost a week that we had to take him to Primary Childrens Hospital to have IV Therapy because he was so dehydrated. He was tired of throwing up and he had started to refuse to drink anything. I held out hope of a recovery for as long as I could, but it wasn't coming and he was just getting worse. He is much better now, you would never even know he had been so sick. And everyone else in the family has seemed to have a little of this and a little of that, but we are hoping we are on the up and up!
Chelsey is turning 8 years old on Sunday. I can't believe she is that old, or I guess I am that old that I have an 8 year old! She is so excited to be baptised. She has been counting down the days. She will be baptised Easter Weekend, kind of a neat time of year to become a member of the Church! Anyone who wants to come is welcome! Let me know!
School is almost over, and while I am excited about that, I am also wondering what I am going to do to keep everyone busy this summer!
Jeremy & Britany Family:
Where did February go?! Actually, where did January go as well?! We are super busy with holidays during these first months. We have Christmas, New Years, Jer's birthday, our anniversary and Maya's birthday. Fun times, but rough on the bank account! This year we celebrated our anniversary apart because Jeremy has been working down in Yuma for the month. He comes home on the weekends so we cherish that time with him. At times it has been rough on the kids (and me!), but overall, we are surviving and just stay busy while he is gone.
For Maya's birthday we had a little get together with some family and friends. I can't believe I have a 4 year old! She is getting way too mature and blows us away with her humor everyday. Her preschool teacher loves her to pieces and is constantly telling me funny things she says.
Kenyon is still the little terror. That kid loves to tackle and wrestle. I think he needs a brother to fight with, but Jeremy insists we are "done." So we have settled on doing foster care instead. I hope an adoption comes from it, while he hopes we end up with only 2 kids for eternity.
The update on foster care is that we have all of our preliminary paperwork filled out and are just waiting to start the 10 weeks of classes. We were supposed to start several weeks ago, but with all of the budget cuts, they can't start a class unless it is completely full and they don't have enough people yet. It is all very frustrating at this point. Jer says it is a sign that we should not do it so then I told him we should just adopt a newborn instead. He decided we would wait on foster care :).
That is all (and probably more than you wanted to hear!). Hope everyone is doing well. Looking forward to seeing you all this summer!
Dwayne & Patty:
Dwayne and I went to San Francisco for Jacob's 3rd birthday. We had a great time visiting and being able to celebrate his big day with him. Jacob discovered that Grandpa Dwayne gives great horsey rides. Just wish the weather would have been a little nicer. Dwayne is staying busy with work and his church calling. I can't believe that the school year is almost over. I love my job and wish that it was year round. Anyways, I am looking forward to summer and finishing projects around the house. All the kids are doing well in their lives. I am excited though with the news that IN and OUT will finally be coming to Northern Utah. Myself and many others will be counting down till the opening of the Draper IN and OUT!!!! Also don't forget the Family reunion July 18. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Well, it's the last day and almost the last hour to send something to this newsletter. For those who are wondering about Hal, he went to the Doctor today and his eye is looking great.For those who don't know what I am talking about, he had an attached retina, but because of surgery seems to be on the mend. He stills see's double sometimes but that is suppose to clear up soon. He will continue to see a Doctor every week for a while just in case.We feel very blessed that his sight is returning. We had a great time on Sunday getting together to see Parker blessed. Thank you to all of our son's and daughter-in-laws for supporting us. It was crazy but really a lot of fun.Thanks to Mom and Dad for letting us use your house.We are excited for spring and finally some warmer weather.Mom, hope you had a great birthday on Monday, we love you and appreciate all you do.

We blessed the baby on Feb. 1st. We nearly had all the Jensen family there. We were all glad to get together one month later this past weekend for Jared and Brit blessing their baby. Family news: Paul is going to preschool once a week for an hour. He loves it. He is talking up a storm these days. Katie is sleeping through the night. Like 10 pm to 6 am. Not bad for a two month old, huh? :) We figure it's just good parenting...or just good luck! Jeremy got a scholarship to pay for his grad program. We bought a GMC Jimmy to replace the old hand me down that has been in the family for years. We are all well.
Josh & Jessica Family:
We have had a pretty quite month. Josh is getting excited to start riding his motorcycle to work. I is not that excited to see him ride it because I doesn't want to see him in the ER! This past weekend I went to Moab and played in a volleyball tournament with my friends and sisters. Josh took the kids to Richfield and he and his dad went fishing. Josh did pretty good and Hal didn't have much luck. Sunday we went to SLC for Parkers baby blessing. It was great to have everyone all together. It reminded me of how much work baby's are but also what a blessing. I am going to run in a 50 mile relay this weekend! I'm not in the greatest shape for it but am really excited. McKendry is doing great and still loving school. Today she brought home some seeds they planted in a cup and had to put it in the freezer for some reason and then told me that if her plant didn't grow that it would be my fault?? Connor is talking up a storm and pouting one up as well if he doesn't get his way. We are doing great and are getting excited for the warmer weather so we can get started working on our yard.

February Fun!
Grandpa & Grandma:
Family:
There were a few noteworthy events in our lives during January. Both of us had teeth work done to the tune of over $1500. Mine is probably done for now but Donna may require more. She'll go see our long-time dentist, David Christensen when we return to Draper in March. (This trip back will be short-- not for the summer.)
Another special event was a short visit to St George by Arlo (Donna's brother). He came to visit for a few days--read 4. He wanted to visit last December but didn't until January. We kept him on the run for two days and I'm sure he was happy to return home for rest.
Last Sunday was our Stake Conference. We didn't have any visits from General Authorities and the proceedings were fairly standard.
The previous Sunday I volunteered to close up the ward building each night at 10:00 pm starting the first of February for the whole month. I suppose you could say I'm the "night-marshal" of the Morningside 2nd Ward building. I use the term "night-marshal" on purpose because of my dad. Did you know that my dad was the "night-marshal" of Bude for a short time when he lived there? You might say he was the Matt Dillon or Chester of Franklin County. Also did you know that his cronies called him "Dough". I don't know why the nickname "Dough" because he didn't have a pot belly. He was a smoker at the time which killed his appetite so he was thin. Thought you might like to know these little gems of history. Back to the closing of our building at 10:00-- Last night the "Young Men" and their leaders were still in the building at closing time and wanted to continue their basketball game till 11:00. They were from another ward in the Stake and attended a different building. Did I kick them out of our building at 10:00 so I could lockup?What would you have done?

We are all wishing for spring and summer about right now. We have had enough of the cold. Only 1 1/2 more months until spring.

Not too much new going on here! It seems we are settling into chaos which has become normal for us! Kolby is enjoying scouts and anxious to go in to the Bears. Jordan is loving school and reading! He wants to read everything he can get his hands on! They both just started Swimming lessons and are SO EXCITED! Perci will go in later this week and get tubes in her ears. She is doing pretty good, she’s a little mommy to all the kids, even her big brothers which they don’t always appreciate! Braden is almost 18 months and will be going into nursery! He climbs on EVERYTHING and thinks he is just as big as the big kids and he can do whatever they do. He seems to have a sense for when the front door is cracked open because it takes him about two seconds to get out the door (no matter how he is dressed!) Harley is REALLY close to crawling, he scoots really well and is starting to push himself up to sitting on his own. He’s such a happy fun little guy! Brent is still working like crazy! We feel very fortunate that things are going well with his job, scary times right now! We are blessed! We were just released from Cub Scouts, I miss it already, bit it is nice not having the stress of it! Life is good!
Eric & Shannon family:
The Eric Wilkinson family is doing well. Eric has enjoyed being a "horse" (according to Dal-lin) -- he pulled the kids on a sled while we went snow shoeing. Emma is learning how to read and Dallin wants to learn all the ABC's now,too. Liz is a little monkey -- she climbs everything she can. She is also memorizing all the fun rhymes and songs like 5 little monkeys, loves stories, and to play. We have borrowed the neighbors male sheep to mate with our females -- hopefully the kids don't notice any of the action. . . Meanwhile I am in the final trimester and look forward to being done and having a new little girl to add to the crew!

January has been a good month. Bev celebrated another birthday. We won't talk about how old, but it was a great day. We have bought a new house. I know everyone has had to start a new page in your address books for all our addresses, but this change will be easy. The phone number will be the same 480-832-1391, address is 3603 N. Boulder Canyon Mesa AZ 85207. We will be moving in on the 7th of Feb. We are excited to move again. We didn't come to Utah for the Super Bowl this year. So we had our own party. With Kellen, Camille, & Livy, Britany, Jeremy, Maya, & Kenyon. Maya turned 4 years old on Feb 3. My how fast time has gone. It is so great to have 7 wonderful grandkids. Our new house is a little bigger to accommodate all of us.

Nothing exciting since the last newsletter. Jacob ( Ben and Alissa's son) will celebrate his 3rd birthday on the 20th.I can't believe that he is 3. He loves to talk to Grandma Patty and Grandpa Dwayne. Everyone else is doing fine.
**The date for the family reunion has been changed. The new date is July 18 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. It will be at the same place SunRidge Park in Layton.

We had a pretty good January. Connor is growing like a weed and talking so much more and getting into so much more. Kendry is still loving preschool and her favorite thing to do is call Josh on his cell phone because we taught her the number. Josh just got called to be the first counselor in the Elders quorum. He also got a turkey tag so he is getting excited for that hunt. Young Women's is going good and we are just busy with activites and getting ready for New Beginnings on Feb 22. We had the chance to go to Katie's baby blessing this past week. She is so adorable. It was great to see Parker as well. I love that we have two babies in the family cause when we get together there is enough baby to go around! Well we hope everyone's Feb. is a good one!

Another special event was a short visit to St George by Arlo (Donna's brother). He came to visit for a few days--read 4. He wanted to visit last December but didn't until January. We kept him on the run for two days and I'm sure he was happy to return home for rest.
Last Sunday was our Stake Conference. We didn't have any visits from General Authorities and the proceedings were fairly standard.
The previous Sunday I volunteered to close up the ward building each night at 10:00 pm starting the first of February for the whole month. I suppose you could say I'm the "night-marshal" of the Morningside 2nd Ward building. I use the term "night-marshal" on purpose because of my dad. Did you know that my dad was the "night-marshal" of Bude for a short time when he lived there? You might say he was the Matt Dillon or Chester of Franklin County. Also did you know that his cronies called him "Dough". I don't know why the nickname "Dough" because he didn't have a pot belly. He was a smoker at the time which killed his appetite so he was thin. Thought you might like to know these little gems of history. Back to the closing of our building at 10:00-- Last night the "Young Men" and their leaders were still in the building at closing time and wanted to continue their basketball game till 11:00. They were from another ward in the Stake and attended a different building. Did I kick them out of our building at 10:00 so I could lockup?What would you have done?

We are all wishing for spring and summer about right now. We have had enough of the cold. Only 1 1/2 more months until spring.

Not too much new going on here! It seems we are settling into chaos which has become normal for us! Kolby is enjoying scouts and anxious to go in to the Bears. Jordan is loving school and reading! He wants to read everything he can get his hands on! They both just started Swimming lessons and are SO EXCITED! Perci will go in later this week and get tubes in her ears. She is doing pretty good, she’s a little mommy to all the kids, even her big brothers which they don’t always appreciate! Braden is almost 18 months and will be going into nursery! He climbs on EVERYTHING and thinks he is just as big as the big kids and he can do whatever they do. He seems to have a sense for when the front door is cracked open because it takes him about two seconds to get out the door (no matter how he is dressed!) Harley is REALLY close to crawling, he scoots really well and is starting to push himself up to sitting on his own. He’s such a happy fun little guy! Brent is still working like crazy! We feel very fortunate that things are going well with his job, scary times right now! We are blessed! We were just released from Cub Scouts, I miss it already, bit it is nice not having the stress of it! Life is good!
Eric & Shannon family:
The Eric Wilkinson family is doing well. Eric has enjoyed being a "horse" (according to Dal-lin) -- he pulled the kids on a sled while we went snow shoeing. Emma is learning how to read and Dallin wants to learn all the ABC's now,too. Liz is a little monkey -- she climbs everything she can. She is also memorizing all the fun rhymes and songs like 5 little monkeys, loves stories, and to play. We have borrowed the neighbors male sheep to mate with our females -- hopefully the kids don't notice any of the action. . . Meanwhile I am in the final trimester and look forward to being done and having a new little girl to add to the crew!

January has been a good month. Bev celebrated another birthday. We won't talk about how old, but it was a great day. We have bought a new house. I know everyone has had to start a new page in your address books for all our addresses, but this change will be easy. The phone number will be the same 480-832-1391, address is 3603 N. Boulder Canyon Mesa AZ 85207. We will be moving in on the 7th of Feb. We are excited to move again. We didn't come to Utah for the Super Bowl this year. So we had our own party. With Kellen, Camille, & Livy, Britany, Jeremy, Maya, & Kenyon. Maya turned 4 years old on Feb 3. My how fast time has gone. It is so great to have 7 wonderful grandkids. Our new house is a little bigger to accommodate all of us.
Dwayne & Patty family:
Nothing exciting since the last newsletter. Jacob ( Ben and Alissa's son) will celebrate his 3rd birthday on the 20th.I can't believe that he is 3. He loves to talk to Grandma Patty and Grandpa Dwayne. Everyone else is doing fine.
**The date for the family reunion has been changed. The new date is July 18 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm. It will be at the same place SunRidge Park in Layton.

We had a pretty good January. Connor is growing like a weed and talking so much more and getting into so much more. Kendry is still loving preschool and her favorite thing to do is call Josh on his cell phone because we taught her the number. Josh just got called to be the first counselor in the Elders quorum. He also got a turkey tag so he is getting excited for that hunt. Young Women's is going good and we are just busy with activites and getting ready for New Beginnings on Feb 22. We had the chance to go to Katie's baby blessing this past week. She is so adorable. It was great to see Parker as well. I love that we have two babies in the family cause when we get together there is enough baby to go around! Well we hope everyone's Feb. is a good one!

It's a New Year!
First, let me appologize for being so behind on getting this out. It is almost time to do next months and this months is just being done, again, I'm sorry! But here are the updates!
Grandpa & Grandma:
Dear family members, Another year has gone. I am having trouble realizing 2008 is over. The snow messed up out Christmas. The good thing is that everybody is safe and sound. We enjoyed having those family members who came to see us along with those we saw later. just before we left St George, we had a snow storm that closed the schools in St George. Our road was clear. We probably had three inches. It was a good day to shop. This was a Christmas the Jensens won't forget. We added two more little ones to our family. Parker made his appearance on Monday of Christmas week to Jared and Brittany. Jeremy and Laura added Katie to there family. We are thrilled that everything is fine. We now have 9 Great Granddaughters and 18 Great grandsons. We will leave on Jan 5 for St George. We are proud of our family.IN Draper, the big news is that our DRAPER temple will open for "open house " in two weeks. March 22 it will be ready for work. It is small. there will not be a cafeteria nor clothing rental. We are anxious to see it. Happy New Year to everyone. We pray that Everyone will continue to have their job and not suffer from the Economic crisis the country . We enjoy your blogs , continue the good work. We had a great holiday. We stayed home for Christmas. It was nice. Dan's mom came to spend Christmas with us. Then we took her to St. George the following Monday to meet her daughter. While in St. George loving the nice weather, our fd KaRanda, visited with her relatives. We also had visits during the week with our friends from Norway, Tamsin, her husband and her parents. Also Suzanne's parents stopped in and visited. It was so fun! It was a good holiday, marred only by Anthony leaving us and going to Minnesota with his grandparents. We missed him terribly. Kaden was with his family as well, so we didn't have any little ones around, but we survived. Cammie, a sister of Courtney and Faith, also joined us. John, Liz and Sara also came to visit. It was a good time. Now we are back in school and can't wait for summer vacation.

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday. Stephanie and Heather were able to come and spend the holiday with us. Of course you can't have Christmas without snow and snow it did. We went and had Christmas eve breakfast with my brother's family and then went and saw a couple movies. Todd and Ben stayed home with their families for Christmas this year. Ben and Alissa are doing well and busy with work. Jacob loves to talk on the phone with Grandma and Grandpa. Todd had a nice break from school and is getting ready for his last semister. Jade has recovered from having Ryder, and Ryder is growing like a weed, he now weighs 10 pounds. Todd and Jade blessed Ryder January 18, and we had a great time with them and Jade's family. Stephanie is now in her own place and has started taking classes at Dixie. Heather enjoyed her break from school and did well her first semister of school.
We would like to let everyone know that the Wilkinson family reunion will be held July 11, 2009 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Sunridge Park in Layton.We will have more information as it gets closer to the date along with sign-ups. Hope to see you all there!!!

This was the first Christmas Jacob really understood what it means..PRESENTS!! We had a good time opening gifts and singing songs. Jacob is looking forward to Grandma Patty and Grandpa Dwayne coming soon. Hope everyone has a great 2009!

We had a great Christmas. As many of you know we added two more babies to our family. Parker was born on Monday Dec 22 to Jared and Brittany, this is their first, Katie was born the day after Christmas to Jeremy and Laura. You can check out some of our boys blogs to see pictures. Both babies are doing great and of course are beautiful and cute and all the stuff that proud grandparents say. (But it's true they are truly beautiful)Babies help you to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
Because this is the best time of the year for Ice fishing, we still get to see family members on weekends, so we are happy.We also having a lot of fun at the Wii. We also were lucky enough to get the Wii fit, which I faithfully train on every night.So, those in the family who will be attending Thanksgiving in St.George, beware, we will be ready for you this year.Everyone else in our family is doing great, so far, everyone has a job and is healthy. Our School District is telling us that there will be some major set backs next year but at this time, I think I will still have a job but who knows for sure, I might have 25 preschool children with disabilities and no assistance. (Could happen)Hal thinks his job is still pretty secure also so we feel thankful for that.

Kelly & Stephanee:
It is still pretty much the same old thing going on here. Kelly is still working at Learnkey and Stephanee is working at a physical therapy place. We are trying to find a house right now. We have put in an offer on one and are considering putting an offer on another one. We are planning a trip to Cali for our 1 year anniversary coming up in April....so excited for that one!! People say that the first year of marriage is the most difficult, we have had our ups and downs, but i would have to say that it has been the best year that i have had so far in my life. I couldn't have picked anyone better to spend eternity with. Other than everything else mentioned above, we are just living life.....finding a home to call our own, start a family, and get a puppy.
