my timing is not! I failed to get a birthday list for this month, and someone in the family, without whom, the rest of this family might not exist, celebrated a birthday.

March Madness!
Well, here we go, the first ever Wilkinson Times online!!! I hope that you all love it! I am excited about the number of people who have submitted things to me, keep it up, I love it! Also, if you look to the right, you will see a list of family members blogs, just click on the names and you will be directed to their blogs, so much fun!!! (Don't forget to send yours in if you want it on here) So, enough from me here we go with all the updates:
Grandma and Grandpa:
Dear Family Members,
Here goes a new Newsletter. The rest of you can talk of what your family is doing. You are our family, so I guess I can tell about the family living in our house. When one retires, people adjust in many different ways. Our home teacher and his wife got bored and went back to work. Somehow we stay busy. This month we had Hal and Diana spend some time with us. We enjoyed visiting with them. We saw Josh and Jessica's new home. It is always good to get rid of the renting situation. It took us eight years. The next event was a trip to Mesa Arizona. Ron and Maud Mary went with us. The purpose was to witness the sealing of Kenyon to his Parents and to Maya. They also blessed him. We enjoyed the visit and to meet others of Britany and and Jeremy's Friends who have also adopted children.
When we returned it was time to go full swing into "Friends For Sight". I have mentioned this group before. This is an annual project to Screen Pre-Schoolers for eye problems . We have 10 schools and 600 children to screen. We did the first one this week and found two children that could possibly have problems and are being referred to an eye doctor. We are in charge of this project. It will take until the first of April to finish the job. Then comes the Jensen wedding and then prepare to move back to Draper. We, of Course do indexing and still love to play the organ. That information is probably more than many of you wanted to know.
We hope the rest of you will add to the newsletter. That is the only way we can keep in touch. We enjoy the blogs. We love you and pray for you each day.

Brent and Melissa & boys
On my blog I use nick names for my kids, mostly to protect the foster kid’s privacy, so I think I am going to keep doing that when we send info for the newsletter since it will be on the Internet. We are all doing well! Bear was baptized and confirmed on March 1! He was so excited! He has been anxiously awaiting his 8th birthday for awhile now, to start scouts and get baptized! So in one week he turned 8, had his 1st den meeting as an official scout, had his 1st pack meeting (the Blue & Gold Banquet) and was baptized! What a week! We are still trying to catch our breath! Not much new with Bug, just the usual wild imagination and he has a bad case of spring fever (well, I think we all have that!)! He loves to watch videos on the blogs so please feel free to post videos for his entertainment; he knows how to go to our family blogs and watches videos over and over! Elf is starting to get up on his hands and knees, I am not sure I am ready for him to be crawling! He’s almost 7 months! Life is good!
Dan and Verna:
We are all doing fine in Ferron, Utah. Verna just finished a successful show of Sound of Music on Emery County Broadway. It was so fun but quite exhausting. My family came to see it and it was fun visiting with them. Lacie just bought herself a car, and that puts her one more step toward independence. Tanya had a story published in a high school newspaper. Kara was in a talent show where she did a spelling bee thing. She is an excellent speller!
Brandon and Suzanne:
The North Salt Lake Higbees are just getting over colds and are excited that winter soon will be replaced by spring. Suzanne and Keaton can't wait for Keaton to be able to play at the park. Brandon is enjoying his job and has been riding the bus to and from work. It is very convenient since Wells Fargo pays for the bus pass. We like to think that it is helping the environment by not having to drive our cars as much. Who are we kidding, he does it to control his road rage. Suzanne loves being home and interacting with Keaton throughout the day. For Keaton's bedtime routine we have been singing songs together after we tuck him into bed. He always asks for, "Families can be together forever, I love to see the Temple and Jesus wants me for a sunbeam." It's needless to say that Sue carries us through the songs. Staying with the singing theme, Sue and I had our once in a blue moon date last Saturday by getting a couple slices of pizza at costco with drinks and for dessert, a churro. We finished that said date off by watching "Enchanted" at the dollar movies. Before people start to think that Brandon is cheap (which I am not!). We didn't have a lot of time for lunch due to the starting time of the movie and we went to the dollar movies because "Enchanted" is no longer in the nice theaters and we (Suzanne) wanted to see it on the big screen. In church related news: Suzanne continues to dutifully magnify her calling and Brandon was just released from his. Brandon is hoping that the Nursery calls for his help because he quite enjoys their snack time. Since we do not hear from any of our extended or even immediate family members. We hope all our family members that will be reading this are doing well.

Gary and Bev:
February was a busy month for Gary and Bev. We are the Young Single Adult advisers. We have them over for break the fast on fast Sunday, stake weekly activities, and a monthly ward activity. So we combined our break the fast and our super bowl party. This was the first year we have not gone back to Utah for our neighbors,the Jones' party. But it was really fun. We had Brit, Jer & kids, Chris and Auburn Jones, Chris's sister Cheryanne & Brian and the YSA in and out. It was interesting when I talked to Jan Jones we had 2 of her married kids and she was planning on hosting 2 of mine.It was great to have Mom, Dad, Maud Mary and Ron here for Kenyon's sealing and blessing. It was so fun to have girl talk till late every night. Thank you for making the trip. Kellen is looking forward to graduating from the U this may. He said he is ready for a vacation. 2 straight years of school has been tough.Riley and his family took a mini vacation and went to Disneyland. They had a great time (TRICIA YOU CAN TELL MORE ABOUT THIS) ((check out my blog to see our fun!)) As far as where we would like to be right now the weather here is so beautiful that I can't think of any other place we would rather be at this moment.
Britany & Jeremy & family:
February was good to Jeremy and Britany's family! On the 15th Kenyon was sealed to our family in the Mesa, AZ temple. It was such a neat experience to be in the House of the Lord with our beautiful children. Both of them were little angels. We feel so blessed to have the gospel in our lives and the knowledge that we can be together forever. Then on Sunday the 16th he was blessed in our home with family and friends here. Special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa and Ron and MaudMary for making the long trek down here. It wouldn't have been the same without you! As far as where we would rather be right now, the weather is perfect so we are happy here, but from March 5-13, Jeremy and I will be in Hawaii so that will be pretty nice too!

Dwayne and Patty:
Dwayne was made ward mission leader and has been enjoying that. Patty finally stuck it to the man and quit her job with Jen to work at a Bountiful Elementary again. We sold our house this month and will now be residing at: 1211 E 3225 N Layton,UT 84040. Our house has been busy trying to pack everything, not even Dwayne could avoid it this time.
Ben,Alissa, & Jacob- Jacob had a birthday this month!! He turned the wonderful age of two and is starting to say his ABC's. Alissa has been keeping busy with her new job at John Wiley and Sons and likes it a lot. Ben is in the final steps of opening his own company, which is a very exciting and new adventure for him.
Todd and Jade- Have been working and waiting for the opening for In N out to open. Heather will be joining them in March, and they are counting down the days.
Stephanie- has been mostly just working and enjoying the warmer weather that doesn't exist in Utah. Grandpa Dale visited her earlier in the month and she got to spend some time with him.
Heather- Got a scholarship to Dixie, it was unexpected but much appreciated. She is finishing up her hours for her extern and can't believe she is almost done. Heather is moving to St. George Easter weekend and can't wait for the warmer weather and the adventures awaiting her with her best friend Jade. She also learned how to sew a button!
Hal and Diana:
sorry, I am just speechless this month. Nothing to add!!
